VerkhnechusovskieGorodki is an old settlement situated on the bank of Chusovaya river. The picturesque river landscape and unique functioning monasteries: Saint UspenskyTriphon Priory, Verkhnechusovskaya Kazan Triphon Ashram both situated on the right bank of the river Chusovaya at a distance of 70 km from Perm. The first house of prayer was established here in the XV century and later in XVI century by the tsar’s decree the land was allowed into Stroganovs’ ownership. From this very place Ermak’s forces after making vow of obedience and virtue unleashed the war with Siberian Khan.
Programme of the tour:
09:00 –Departure of the group;
11:00 - SaintUspenskyTriphonPriory: a guided tour around the monastery , visiting a sacred spring, bathing in the font basin;
14:00 –A guided tour around the Ashram;
15:00 –Leaving for Perm;
17:00 –Arriving in Perm.
